- Quantum, a large-scale plastic molding company, purchased 11 LS Mtron injection molding machines over the past two years to increase production capacity.

Recently, the response to LS Mtron Co., Ltd. (LS Mtron) in the U.S. market has been quite remarkable.

Over the past two years, Quantum Storage Systems/M&M Plastics (Quantum), one of the major plastic molding companies located in Miami, Florida, has purchased 11 LS Mtron injection molding machines. Known for its extensive experience in manufacturing injection molded plastic components, Quantum currently supplies and produces over 200 million products annually.

With a diverse customer base including automotive, heating and cooling manufacturers, food service, and medical supply companies, as well as aerospace component companies, Quantum has established an exclusive production product line to manufacture customized molded products.

Don Thomas, the General Manager at Quantum, stated, "Over the past few years, we have been focusing on increasing production capacity, which includes updating to injection molding machines. After evaluating all major IMM brands, we decided on LS Mtron injection molding machines." He added, "We have purchased 11 LS Mtron injection molding machines in the last 2 years. Currently, 5 are in operation, 2 are in the trial phase, and we are expecting 4 new large injection molding machines to arrive from the end of this year into the next."

Thomas continued by saying, "Having worked in the plastics industry for a long time, I am well aware of LS Mtron and their quality. I consider LS Mtron to be a robust company with a strong global presence." He emphasized, "there is a significant advantage of the process taking less than 100 days from casting at the Korean factory to local transportation.”

It has announced plans to participate in NPE2024-The Plastics Show (NPE2024) on a larger scale than ever before.
