LS Mtron Participates in KIEMSTA 2024...Korea's best horsepower flagship model MT9 is unveiled

On the 30th, LS Mtron announced that it will participate in the 2024 Korea International Agricultural and Machinery Materials Expo (KIEMSTA 2024), which will be held at EXCO in Daegu until November 2.

At the 2024 KIEMSTA, LS Mtron will showcase the nation's best horsepower flagship model MT9, electric tractor concept model EON3, and autonomous operation 3.5 stage tractor.

KIEMSTA is the largest agricultural exhibition in Korea hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and organized by the Korea Agricultural Machinery Industry Cooperative and Daegu City. This year, 429 companies from 25 countries will participate.

MT9, a large tractor with the nation's largest horsepower performance, first unveiled at KIEMSTA 2024.

The large tractor MT9, first unveiled by LS Mtron at KIEMSTA 2024, is a flagship model capable of exerting 143 horsepower. This is the highest level of tractors developed by domestic companies.

In addition, for the first time in Korea, dual clutch transmission (DCT) is applied to enable smooth and fast shifting. It is characterized by low power loss, enabling fuel efficiency and maintenance costs to be reduced. It is possible to speed up the front and rear by 32 speeds and automatic 8 speeds, increasing work efficiency.

In particular, LS Mtron plans to apply autonomous working technology to MT9 next year. The effect of autonomous work is expected to be further maximized due to the nature of large tractors, which mainly consist of work on large agricultural land.

LS Mtron then unveiled the electric tractor concept model EON3 at KIEMSTA 2024. It is a 30-horsepower model that is easy to work in a small space. It supports fast charging and can be charged in about 40 minutes from 10% to 80%.

Shin Jae-ho, president of LS Mtron, said, "We will lead the tractor-sized, electrified, and automation market in KIEMSTA 2024 to become a global agricultural machinery company beyond the best in Korea," adding, "We will continue to make differentiated products that can be confidently shown to customers."

Meanwhile, LS Mtron signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency and the Jeonbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center at KIEMSTA 2024. Each institution plans to cooperate in the discovery of technology-based innovative companies in the agricultural sector and support various resources for the success of the discovery companies in commercialization.
