LS Mtron Co., Ltd.(LS Mtron) launched its first injection molding machine product in 1969 under the machinery division of Geumseong Co., Ltd.(now LG Group). ■ ‘WIZ-VR Ⅱ Series’, boasts energy efficiency, ease of maintenance, and an ergonomic design

The WIZ-VR II Series improves productivity by reducing process time(option) through the simultaneous execution of product take-out and insertion processes during injection. This series not only saves energy (power consumption) by utilizing the Servo Pump system, but also employs a closed-loop system using a high-power AC Servo Motor for excellent reproducibility(within 0.1%) through feedback control. Additionally, the precision rotation motor enables low noise and precise control.

Moreover, the WIZ-VR II Series offers stable quality and outstanding durability with a 4-post tie-bar structure for all models, ensuring stable template support. With its support for 4 injection fixtures, and slide-type guide bar design to minimize transfer resistance, it is optimized for precision molding and is highly rated for its excellent high-speed molding and reproducibility.

By optimizing hydraulic oil tanks and lines, the WIZ-VR Ⅱ Series reduces operating flow(by approximately 45%) and cooling water consumption(by approximately 30%), resulting in lower operating and maintenance costs. Additionally, it prioritizes environmental protection. 

The machine achieves precise molding through the use of servo motors and drivers, minimizing product defects during production. It also offers a wide range of injection specifications (speed/pressure) to meet customer needs.

The current lineup of the WIZ-VR II Series includes vertical injection types such as WIZ VT(Single Type) and WIZ VS(Shuttle Type), as well as horizontal injection types such as WIZ VTH(Single Type), WIZ VSH(Shuttle Type), and WIZ VRH(Rotary Type), providing customers with a variety of options to choose from according to their specific needs.

■ The WIZ-VR Series showcased its vehicle gravity acceleration sensor injection technology at KOPLAS 2023

The WIZ-VR Series was showcased at the 27th International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition held at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang for 5 days from March 14th to 18th, 2023. The low-profile design of the WIZ-VR Series enables safe and efficient work. At the industrial exhibition (KOPLAS 2023), the WIZ-VR Series demonstrated the injection of a vehicle gravity acceleration sensor, which drew the attention of the visitors.

The gravity acceleration sensor has a broad range of applications and can precisely measure the movement of objects. It is utilized in a wide range of electronic devices, such as smartphones and cameras, as well as wearable devices like cars and various smartwatches. Additionally, it is used in safety features like airbags in cars, body stability control systems(ESPs), and unmanned aerial vehicles. Its versatility allows for realistic virtual reality in gaming and is an integral part of many electronic devices.

The WIZ-VR II Series is a new addition to the WIZ-VR Series, developed to ensure operator convenience and safety, and boasts superior molding capabilities compared to existing vertical injection molding machines in terms of precision and energy efficiency through its hybrid system.
